"Vampire Diaries" actor Ian Somerhalder continues to show-off his new baby in a shared Instagram photo. The 34-year-old proud owner of the Airstream trailer posed inside as "Vampire Diaires" production assistant Ty Armstead captured a souvenir image.

Ty Armstead shared the image on his Instagram account tytheprince11 with the caption that reads: "@iansomerhalder brought his new #Airstream yo set. Pretty damn rad inside, and outside. #newtoys #silverbullet #ontheroadinstyle." The image shows Ian Somerhalder having a blast with his new ride while posing in front of his bed in a very eye-catching look of tight jeans, T-shirt, Aviator sunglasses and a fedora.

The 2013 iHeartRadio Music Festival held on Saturday night, September 21, somehow kept Ian Somerhalder's mind away from his "new baby." The actor attended the event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with his "Vampire Diaries" co-star Candice Accola and the cast members of its spin-off series "The Originals" like Claire Holt and Charles Michael Davis.

"Thank you to the CW for bringing me here to Vegas.I love you guys and thank you-Fans, pls thank the CW for bringing me here!!! Xo Ian," Mr Somerhalder shared to the millions of followers on his Twitter account @iansomerhalder. Furthermore, the heartthrob actor posted that Sin City became a really good date to him for 10 long hours.

As for his work in the upcoming "Vampire Diaries" Season 5, the Entertainment Wise report claims that the onscreen romance between Ian and co-star/ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev is ready to kick off when the successful CW TV series returns to the small screen.

Ms Dobrev shared: "One of the big obstacles for them, especially for Damon, is to make sure he doesn't f**k it up because he has a tendency to do that whether he means to or not. He's going to try to be on his best behavior and Elena is going to embrace him, but she knows who he is and sometimes that comes to the surface and reminds her. But they'll try to figure it out because love prevails and they want their love to conquer all. They have gone through so much to get to where they are now."

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 premieres on October 3 at the CW network.
