Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley: 'Vampire Diaries' Stars Attend The 2014 Walker Stalker Convention In Atlanta, Georgia
"The Vampire Diaries" stars Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley took a break from their busy filming schedule for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 to attend an event. Ian and Paul arrived at the 2014 Walker Stalker Convention in Atlanta, Georgia to talk about the CW TV series and meet with the fans.
According to a Just Jared report, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley, known as the Salvatore brothers in the CW TV series, shared a laugh on stage while talking about their show with the fans at the convention panel on Sunday morning, Oct. 19. The report further revealed that Ian Somerhalder, who portrays TVD character Damon Salvatore, teased his fans with a shared set image on Instagram. "Good morning from the cemetery of Mystic Falls," Somerhalder posted as a caption to the shared image on his Instagram account iansomerhalder. Click HERE to see photo.
The 35-year-old heartthrob actor further added a message to his millions of fans. "Lots of things on my mind on this beautiful morning in Georgia-I have a great deal of things to say today. Standby please and hopefully you have the time to listen and help me. I am always grateful;) Love, Ian," the TVD star posted.
As for Paul Wesley, the 32-year-old actor will reportedly have another movie project under his sleeve. According to a Deadline report last September, Wesley has joined the cast of the upcoming film titled "Mother's Day" opposite Eva Amurri Martino.
The report further revealed that Paul Wesley will portray the character named Kevin, an artsy pastry chef and boyfriend of actress Eva Amurri Martino's character in the film. The other cast members in the upcoming film include Eva Amurri Martino's mom, Susan Sarandon, and Sharon Stone.
The TVD actor expressed his excitement on Twitter about the new movie he will work on. "Excited for this one," Wesley posted on his Twitter account @paulwesley on Friday, Sept. 26, after the casting news was announced. The fans can currently watch Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder as Stefan and Damon Salvatore in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6.
New episodes of the hit TV series air on Thursday nights at 8 p.m. on the CW Network. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 4 titled "Black Hole Sun" is scheduled to air on Oct. 23, 2014.
