inFamous: Second Son has just made an infamous new statistic, as Sony announces the sales figures that the PS4 exclusive has managed to rake up since its release.

Over at the PlayStation Blog, it was announced that inFamous: Second Son managed to exceed the 1 million mark for global sales in the first nine days of launch of the game alone. This makes it the fastest selling inFamous installment in the entire franchise to date.

"It was great to see such a warm reception to the title when it finally hit store shelves last month, and for all of us here at PlayStation and the team at Sucker Punch, it's been really rewarding to share this launch with all of you," said Sony on behalf of Sucker Punch Productions.

As a reminder, those who have already finished the game should still look forward to the Paper Trail, the free bonus content and a six-part episodic addition that brings more missions and information about the game's storyline. You can expect Part Four to debut by the end of the week, so that's something to enjoy over the weekend.

Titanfall patch update announced

The newest Titanfall patch update brings the beta for Private Match, which will support anywhere between two to 12 players, with the usual max of 6 players per team.

"This is the first public test of our new Private Match mode. This gives you a way to organize matches with and against your friends, for casual or tournament play. Some features are unfinished or not yet implemented, and we welcome your feedback," said Respawn Entertainment over at their web site.

There's a long list of changes and new features, which you can check in the link above. But the notable ones worth mentioning include the new Party Colors for members and titans have been changed to green so you can spot your allies better.

The Xbox one version also has a number of changes and added features, with those enjoying the Party App now having a shortcut so you can open it easily via all menus.
