Are you a fan of shooter games? Here are some of the more recently released and recently updated games for the iOS, Android, and BB10.

There's a game for those who love combat, those who love shooting down the undead, or those who want to experience futuristic shooting with spaceships.

Into the Dead (Android)

Zombie games are a dime a dozen, and the games seem to follow either one of two trends: eliminate the zombies or run away from them.

With Into the Dead, a free game from PikPok, you experience the game from a first-person standpoint. Armed with a gun and some ammo, gunning down walkers, and running as fast and as long as you can to get to safety, there's a thrilling experience that you don't normally get in a tablet game.

While it's a free-to-play game, Into the Dead is also a freemium, meaning you get in-app purchases to up your game or to get rid of scattered ads while playing, reports Phandroid.

Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation (iOS)

If you're into combats and warfare, and you have a penchant for playing console games, you can now do that (well, almost) even when you're not in the comforts of your room.

Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation from Gameloft offers the unique experience of stunning visuals and a combat game that's almost reminiscent of Call of Duty, if anything.

You'll know detail when you see the surroundings, so it's not just about the fun of shooting down terrorists for all 13 mission stories. It's a fun game while it lasts, and though the story doesn't really measure up to its console counterparts, it's enough to get you through a $4.99 a game buy, reports Modojo.

The only downside of the game? It's a whopping 1.37 GB, so you will have to sacrifice quite a bit of space. But it's quite understandable, given how Modern Combat 3 feels almost like a console game played straight from your mobile device.

Sector Strike (BlackBerry 10)

Want a mix of futuristic gaming and shooting? Sector Strike may be that awesome game that you can enjoy, with its difficulty levels, kicking soundtrack, and surprisingly advanced graphics.

According to PocketBerry, part of the gameplay includes the retro-style space shooting game, customisation of ships, credits for new weapons and abilities, and cloud backup, so you can switch between devices when playing.

Sector Strike is now available on the BlackBerry PlayBook and the BlackBerry Z10, and it's available for free download on the App World.
