Apple's new smartphones, iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, will be released in the U.S., UK and Australian markets beginning September 20.

Apple fans rejoiced when tech giant Apple finally announced its long awaited two smartphones this year. Aussie Apple users can get their hands on the handsets by Friday next week.

The iPhone 5S boasts off the same iPhone 5 specs and features with new addition such as 64-bit A7 processing chip with an accompanying M7 motion-sensor chip and fingerprint sensor on the home button.

The iPhone 5S is priced US$199 for 16GB, US$299 for 32GB and US$399 for 64GB with the usual two-year contract.

The iPhone 5C, on the other hand, is equipped 4-inch retina display, dual core A6 chip processor, and 8MP rear camera. The device will come in blue, green, yellow, white and red plastic casing.

The iPhone 5C will be replacing the old iPhone 5 and bears a friendly tag price US$99 for 16GB and US$199 for the 32GB with 24 months of lock-in period.

Apple Stores and major Australian carriers has yet to announce the exact date when consumers can place their pre-orders. However, it will surely come just right after the announcement of the handset.

The iPhone is one of the dominant products in Australia's smartphone market competition with Android-based handsets by Samsung, HTC and Sony.
