iPhone 5S release date is on September 6 with rumoured low cost iPhone Light, according to German blog iFun.

iFun cited a very credible source who stated that, "The next-generation iPhone will be according to our information on 6 September come on the market. In addition to that day, "two new types of devices" to be available - and thus are not two different color variations or memory meant."

According to the tech blog, Apple will release a full-fledge iPhone 5S and a cheaper version of the handset.

These two devices coincide with the recent statement of KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo on his latest note. According to his note, Apple will release an iPhone 5S and a cheaper iPhone 5.

However, Kuo said that the iPad 5 and iPhone 5 with plastic casing are scheduled for launch in early September while the full-fledged iPhone 5S release date was pushed back to the end of the month.

The rumoured iPhone 5S is facing production delays and setbacks with the inclusion of various components. Hence, the later release date.

Apple confirmed that it will launch two new products before 2013 ends. However, the company does not specifically whether an iPhone 5S release date may happen.

The full-fledged iPhone 5S release date is rumoured to come with powerful by A7 quad core chip. It will include some features such as Near Field Communication, 13MP back camera and longer battery life. And just like its brother, iPad, it may have a large internal storage of up to 128GB.

Meanwhile, the cheaper iPhone is expected to boast a 4-inch screen display, a dual core processor and an 8MP back camera all housed in a cheap plastic casing. However, based on Kuo's note, the cheaper iPhone may come with iPhone 5's specs and features.

However, Apple fans are still waiting for the official announcement of the iPhone 5S release date from the California-based company.
