iPhone 5S Rumors: Apple Prepares Smart Phone Production, Foxconn Hiring More Workers for June 2013 Release Date?
Foxconn, partner of technology giant Apple, is reportedly exerting more effort in hiring more workers to increase the production speed for the upcoming iPhone 5S flagship. According to the Wall Street Journal report, the iPhone 5S production will begin this quarter for a June release together with the iOS 7 launch at the 2013 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).
"We have been very busy recently as we will start mass-producing the new iPhone soon. The extra workers will assemble the new device as well as existing models and have been added at Apple's request to boost capacity," an unidentified Foxconn executive revealed.
Apple and Foxconn both refused to give any comment on the situation of the iPhone 5S production but confirmed the decision to increase the number of workers in order to meet the seasonal demands.
Meanwhile, new reports about the upcoming iPhone 5S suggest that Apple will introduce the latest smart phone with two screen sizes. A high-quality model is expected to be unveiled with a 4.8-inch screen size together with a smaller smart phone screen size of only 4 inches.
iPhone 5S will reportedly include the quad-core A7 processor, 2GB of RAM, an internal storage capacity of 128GB and a fingerprint sensor for smart phone user security. The 4.8-inch screen with Retina Display will have a Full HD 1920x1080p resolution with the remarkable 458ppi pixel density.
The other reports point out to a wider colour choices available for the Apple iPhone 5S compared to the existing model. Of course, an iPhone with the black and white colours are still expected to be offered but the different colours will surely make an iPhone more appealing to the consumers like the Apple iPod that can be purchased in silver, blue, slate, pink and yellow colours.
