Nokia Lumia 521 Windows Phone 8 to Arrive at T-Mobile on May 2013
T-Mobile officially announced the availability of the Nokia Lumia 521 Windows Phone 8 in the smart phone market on May 2013. The pricing has not yet been revealed, but it is expected that the monthly payments for the Nokia smart phone will be very affordable.
Twitter account @NokiaUS posted an image of the Nokia Lumia 521 smart phone with a caption that confirms the arrival at T-Mobile network. "Arriving in May! The gorgeous Nokia Lumia 521 on @Tmobile with Windows Phone 8 and a 4" screen," the message reads.
According to T-Mobile, the company will release the official Nokia Lumia 521 pricing soon. However, it was reportedly announced at the 2013 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain that the Nokia smart phone will be offered in the United States under a $200 off contract.
Consumers can therefore acquire the Nokia Lumia 520 with a $0 required down payment for the handset and an estimated $8-$9 monthly payment for the handset in 24 months. The exact date of availability has not been confirmed, but T-Mobile assured customers that the Nokia Lumia 521 will be available at Walmart, Microsoft and T-Mobile retail stores.
The Nokia Lumia 521 colors are still uncertain, but the smartphone is expected to be available in red, blue, yellow and white color choices. Unfortunately, the Nokia smart phone has a couple of weakness since it does not have the 4G-LTE capabilities and rear-facing camera flash.
Even so, the Nokia Lumia 521 still offers remarkable user experience with its Windows Phone 8 operating system. The Lumia 21 features a 4-inch screen display with 800x480p resolution powered with the 1GHz dual-core procesor, 8GB internal storage capacity with a microSD card slot for memory storage expansion and 512MB of RAM.
Other remarkable features and specifications include the 5MP rear-facing camera capable of recording 720p videos. Similar to the Nokia smart phones with the Windows Phone 8, Nokia Lumia 521 will have the navigation applications like HERE Drive, HERE Maps and HERE Transit.
Cinemagraph and the panoramic lens will be incorporated in the Lumia 521 as well to impress the photography enthusiasts, while the Nokia Music app will allow the music lovers to stream unlimited amount of songs.
