The rumors of the next Apple device, the iPhone 5S has started to quiet down, mostly because the rumors circulating have become more or less similar to each other, and no new rumors have cropped up.

In the latest leaks, however, there seems to be a new leak of photos depicting the iPhone 5S and shot clearly enough at what seems like the display assembly stage.

Phone Arena reports that the shots have come from another Chinese blog source, dubbing it to be the iPhone 5S LCD screen and digitizer. Based on the shots, there's really not much change in terms of the hardware look outside.

There's no way of knowing if, indeed, the iPhone 5S or iPhone 6 will feature the much-rumored fingerprint recognition and sapphire glass home key, and the leaks don't provide much to go on in terms of the rumors.

Introducing the 'iPhone Light"

For those who have been waiting for a budget or low-cost iPhone, it may actually be a real thing, if the statement of an exec from one of Apple's suppliers is to be believed.

Quoting a Chinese publication report, CNet states that the low-cost iPhone may have been unwittingly outed. Not only that, there were also some slight details given that may be interesting for consumers.

According to the report, T.H. Tung, CEO of Pegatron, had commented that the low-cost iPhone is a real product, but that it won't be "cheap" at all. In fact, the price may be fairly high, which kind of defeats the purpose of calling it a budget iPhone.

Pegatron is Apple's newest supplier as it veers from a single Foxconn supplier method. Past reports have touted Pegatron to be in charge of the assembly of the low-cost iPhone, though Apple has not yet confirmed any of these details.

Leaked images of the iPhone Light and iPhone 5S?

In another report, Know Your Mobile has showcased diagram leaks of the next iPhone and the low-cost iPhone. Given that there are still no confirmations as to what the next iPhone will be called, some are thinking that it can be the iPhone 6, while others think that it will be a refresh, the iPhone 5S.

Judging from the leaks circulating, it seems that very little has been changed in terms of the design, which can hint at the fact that this will be a refresh phone. It also corroborates with the earlier report related to the new leaked hi-res images. As for the low-cost phone, it was called the iPhone Light, though according to the diagram, it's anything but a scaled down version of the iPhone 5S/iPhone 6.

In the leak, the iPhone Light is wider, taller, and thicker than the iPhone 5S, though the display screens of both devices are pegged at 4 inches. Since the material of the body was not specified, the rumor of the low-cost iPhone having a plastic body for affordability may still hold true.

Though given earlier comments made by Pegatron's CEO, if the iPhone Light was really not an affordable phone, it might just be a refreshed version of earlier iterations. If anything, it might even be the refresh phone of the iPhone 5, while the touted iPhone 5S may actually be the iPhone 6.
