iPhone 6, iPad 5 to be Integrated with MacOS X?
The latest rumour mill claimed that iPhone 6 and iPad 5's iOS will be integrated with MacOS X.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr.com, unified operating systems are expected to be the wave of the future, with a single smart device capable of being a smartwatch, smartphone, tablet, and computer all at once. The iPhone and iPad use pretty much the same iOS.
Apple's difficulty lies in merging the MacOS X with the iOS. But the MacOS X has almost as many apps as Windows 8, which gives them an edge over Google once the operating systems are unified.
Moreover, rumours also say that the iPhone 6 or iPhone 5S will incorporate four pico projectors to turn your iPhone into an all-in-one portable Mac with a virtual keyboard. Combine this feature set with the rumoured Apple iWatch and in the future you may be spending more time touching other devices rather than the iPhone's screen.
The iPhone 6 is rumoured to be released early next year and one of the possible reasons of the rumoured early release date is because Apple will be launching a redesigned iPhone.
Reports indicate that Apple is looking to switch to a 6-month cycle instead of a 1-year cycle with the iPhone to be more aggressive against competitors such as Samsung and Google. This means consumers may be able to snatch up a colourful iPhone 6 around March 2013.
Asymco's analyst Horace Dediu believes that Apple's future will indeed consist of a new generation of device every six months. This assumption is based on the statement of former Apple CEO John Sculley.
According to Mr. Sculley, the company is "going through a very significant change now in terms of product cycles," and that "now it's really introducing products twice a year."
The iPhone 5 is still rolling out in a few countries but its successor may be on its way to the tech market packed with an even more amazing camera and screen display. It is initially reported that the iPhone 6 will include a "Super HD" screen display and camera. Speculations claimed that it is beyond the Full HD displays in HTC Droid DNA.
Other rumours claimed that iPhone 6 will steer away from its usual hues and will offer 6 to 8 different colours to attract younger generations in buying the handset.
iPad 5, on the other hand, is rumoured to be released in March roughly eight months after the fourth generation of thge device debuted.
As usual, the Cupertino-based company remained tight-lipped about the details of its upcoming smartphone.
