With the recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy S4 just around the corner, Apple must offer an innovative creation on the upcoming iPhone 6 to outshine its tough smart phone competitor. Recent reports suggest that Apple could incorporate the latest Sharp Corp display technology on the iPhone 6.

According to the Patently Apple report, Sharp Corp has created a highly developed screen display technology on smart phones and televisions that will allow users to write on the device with the use of a pencil or a pen.

The report reads: "Sharp Corp has developed a new display technology that brings up to 8 times higher sensitivity to a capacitive touch panel. The technology will be able to be used on 5" displays for smart phones and scale through to 60" for HDTVs."

The company has reportedly begun the production on the display technology a couple of days ago. It has been previously considered that the iPhone display could be changed from Retina to the IGZO Sharp but Apple has neither confirmed nor denied whether they will take on the advanced screen display technology.

Meanwhile, there are other reports circulating on the remarkable iPhone 6 features and specifications. The latest Apple smart phone will sport a 4.8-inch Retina display, 16MP iSight camera with a dual LED flash, a re-design of Apple's signature home button, a metal shell, NFC sharing and wireless charging.

The iPhone 6 is anticipated to be more durable compared to the iPhone 5 with the 1.8GHz quad-core CPU plus the "Keep Safe" software. In 2012, Apple acquired AuthenTec which is a fingerprint scanning company that uses the "Smart Sensor" technology. With the "Keep Safe" software, Apple enthusiasts will have their data files secured in a private folder not visible to others who uses the same computer.

The unveiled Samsung Galaxy S4 features and specifications include the 4.99-inch full HD super AMOLED screen display, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update, 13MP camera and 2GB of RAM which currently makes it as one of the best in the smart phone market. However, Apple will undoubtedly design the upcoming iPhone 6 as a ground-breaking smart phone to defeat the Samsung Galaxy S4.
