The Apple iPhone 6 launch will definitely be one of the most exciting events for the year 2013. Recent reports point to the smart phone's unveiling in October with the remarkable features of a 1080p Full Retina+ HD and wrap around 3D display.

Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One both have the 1080p HD screen display. In order for Apple to compete with the rival smart phones, the upcoming iPhone 6 will more likely be incorporated with the freshly updated 1080p Full Retina + HD display. This claim contradicts previous reports that the iPhone 6 will have the Retina+ Sharp Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide (IGZO) display.

Another remarkable feature for Apple's upcoming smart phone is the wrap around 3D display. According to Apple's recent patent application, a full wrap around screen display without buttons could arrive in the iPhone 6. The patent application reportedly comes with an "enclosed transparent housing" and a flexible display panel where the contents could be shown from any of the iPhone 6 frame parts.

The patent application statement reads: "The majority of portable electronic device manufacturers utilize a common form factor consisting generally of a flat planar form factor with a single surface dedicated mainly for use as a display surface while the other surfaces remain largely unused, save for the occasional button or switch."

There is a possibility that the iPhone 6 will have AMOLED screens that could provide the 3D effect to the device users. The Wrap Around 3D Display feature seem to support the other iPhone 6 reports on the enhanced camera and 3D Facetime conference calling features.

Apple's forthcoming iPhone 6 launch with the remarkable features shows that the technology giant continues to prove its mettle in the smart phone competition.
