iPhone 6 Rumors: Is the Upcoming Apple Smart Phone Gold-Trimmed with Plastic Rear, Bendy Battery and 128GB Internal Storage Capacity?
With the 2013 Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) happening in just a few days, can people finally hear an announcement on the iPhone 6 features and specs? Recent reports are further increasing the excitement on the upcoming smart phone with claims on a gold-trimmed iPhone with a plastic rear, a bendy battery and whopping internal storage capacity of 128GB.
Leaked images show a gold-trimmed Apple iPhone as an addition to the black, white and silver color choices available. It appears the technology giant already allows the widening of color selection on their devices to remain competitive in the market against rival companies.
The addition of the 128GB storage capacity on the iPad has led device enthusiasts to consider the possibility of the big memory capacity on the upcoming iPhone model. On the smart phone's reported plastic rear, speculations surfaced and linked that iPhone 6 will be unveiled next to the curved and plastic-backed Apple iPhone Mini.
An Apple patent was revealed at the web site of the official US Patent and Trademark office which discusses the information on Apple's preparation for a bendy battery in a mobile electronic device. Another expected feature to be incorporated in the iPhone 6 is the AirDrop on Macs that Apple launched in 2011.
The AirDrop feature with a Wi-Fi connection will allow two Macs users to exchange their files without the need of connecting to the same network. According to the 9to5Mac report, Apple will include the remarkable feature on the upcoming iPhone together with the release of the iOS 7 in the later part of 2013.
Release date of the iPhone 6 is assumed to happen in 2014 while the iPhone 5S is expected to be released first before the year 2013 ends. Such assumption was based on Apple's device naming system and plans since the company always remain tight-lipped on their upcoming devices.
