The latest round of reports on the upcoming HTC T6 Phablet include the leaked features, specs and release date in the second half of 2013 to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Analyst Alvin Kwock of J.P. Morgan Hong Kong revealed that HTC's profit could increase with the T6 Phablet release, alongside other Android devices such as HTC One Mini, HTC Butterfly S and HTC Desire 200.

The smart phone-tablet features and specs were leaked online through notable Twitter source @evleaks who previously hinted HTC's codename on their latest device. HTC T6 will reportedly have Taiwan's Catcher Technology and China's BYD metal framework with the 5.9-inch Full HD screen display, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU and 2GB of RAM.

Other features and specs include the 16GB internal storage capacity with microSD card slot to expand memory storage, the power of a 3300mAh battery and 2.1MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and Ultrapixel technology similar to the HTC One smart phone. Front dual Boomsound speakers with a dedicated audio processor and the latest Sense UI version are expected to be incorporated at the HTC T6 phablet.

Additionally, HTC is predicted to equip the T6 phablet with a fingerprint scanner at the back and provide a protective case with 1250mAh backup battery jacket that can add up to the available 3300mAH battery. Twitter account @evleaks further claims that HTC T6 will run on the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie as the phablet goes out of the box this summer.

However, it contradicts Google's publicised launch of the next Android update version scheduled in the third or fourth quarter of 2013. HTC has not yet given any official statement to confirm or deny the latest reports circulating on their plans or upcoming devices.
