iPhone 6C release date in September 2015 imminent
The iPhone 6C had been previously rumored to arrive next year. However, fresh speculations suggest that it will be unleashed alongside the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus in September 2015.
On Aug. 10, Evan Blass who has a consistent track record of revealing correct details on forthcoming handsets had tweeted that iPhone 6S, the iPhone 6S Plus and the iPhone 6C will be released concurrently. According to G for Games, an insider from Foxconn has revealed that Apple placed orders for new display panels for a new iPhone.
It adds that since the newly ordered display panels are of 4-inch, Apple may be presumably working on the iPhone 6C. It has been also revealed that Foxconn will be receiving huge traffic for building the purported handset in October. Speculations are rife that Foxconn has also received orders to assemble 60 percent of the iPhone 6S and 100 percent of the iPhone 6S Plus.
According to Phone Arena, the iPhone 6C will be upgraded version of the iPhone 5C that was released in 2013. It will be featuring a metal unibody and is expected to come with innards of the iPhone 6S. It will be either featuring a 14 nm Samsung SoC or 16 nm TSMC chip.
The handset is expected to house a larger battery of 1,715 mAh. The older iPhone 5C is equipped with a battery of 1,500 mAh. A report published by CNET in March states that Apple iPhone users still prefer handsets with smaller factor. It states that large-sized are not easy to operate with single hand. Hence, the arrival of the iPhone 6C seems to be imminent.
Rumours are also indicating the iPhone 6S, the iPhone 6S Plus and the iPhone 6C will be announced on Sept. 9. However, as of this writing, there is no official announcement on the existence of iPhone 6C.
