iPhone 7 Release Roundup: Apple iPad Pro To Utilise High-Quality Aluminium Metal And Share Key Features With iPhone 7

According to a latest report, the iPhone 7 and Apple’s new line-up of tablet the iPad Pro, also known as the iPad Plus, will apparently utilise same metal for the exterior. In addition, the aforesaid devices are expected to share key configuration as well. A new image of the alleged iPad Pro case has surfaced online revealing key aspects that are shared between the said tablet, Apple Watch and the iPhone 7.

iPhone 7, iPad Pro Features: Exterior

The famous designer Sonny Dickson has reportedly posted several images of the iPad Pro case. Going by the image, there are cut outs for the stereo speakers at the top and bottom of the tablet. This apparently shows the emphasis Apple makes on the music-related aspects of the device, notes Value Walk.

The same source apparently suggests that the iPad Pro will likely share the materials used by the iPhone 7. To be specific, UDN report says, the next iPhone i.e. iPhone 7 will utilise the same 7000 Series aluminium material, seen in the Apple Watch Sport. Speaking of 7000 Series aluminium material, it is considered to be extremely durable. In hindsight, Apple’s embarrassing run with the iPhone 6 “#bendgate” problem should have been the trigger to opt for a more durable material. Needless to say, Apple is utilising this material for the upcoming devices, notes Value Walk. Technically, aluminium chassis has been around for quite some time now. However, Apple’s 7000 Series aluminium material is substantially i.e. 60 percent stronger than the average aluminium.

iPhone 7 Release Date

The iPhone 7 rumours have been quite rife, however, there is no concrete information about the release time-frame as yet. In the meantime, Value Walk says, Apple might postpone the iPhone 7 release date to 2016, so as to pull out all the stops to build on the success of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

iPhone 7 Memory

Meanwhile, Apple Insider report says, Apple will apparently bring the iPad memory upgrades made in the current-generation tablets to the next iPhone. To be specific, the iPad Air 2 comes with 2 GB of RAM housed in the A8X chip and therefore, it is safe to assume that the next iphone or iPhone 7 will also flaunt the same configuration.

iPhone 7 Camera

Computer World, on the other hand, says Apple is gearing up to building the camera inside future iPhones with DSLR-like image capturing capability. This means, the camera should be able to handle dim-lit conditions with minimal device shake. To top it off, Apple has purchased the advanced camera sensors building company LinX for a good $20 million. Notably, the Linx technology is known for better colour fidelity, sharper and clearer images, in addition to performing efficiently at very dim-lit environment with minimal visual noise. Nonetheless, Apple has not confirmed the iPad Pro or iPhone 7 features, specifications and release date thus far.
