A recent study shows that iPhones are more reliable than Samsung's Galaxy line.

The study was conducted by FixYa, which has carried out a survey to identify which model is the most reliable among users.

FixYa has studied 722,558 problems that were reported to Samsung, Apple and other phone manufacturers by users of their devices. The total number of complaints made to manufacturers was then compared to each company's market share, in order to gain an understanding of which companies are seen as the most reliable by consumers.

Based on the data gathered, the Apple iPhone models were found to be the most reliable. It scored more than 3 times higher than Samsung's Galaxy phones. Motorola and Nokia performed even worse based on the survey.

Apple and Samsung already have a large base of customers with millions using devices from each company on a daily basis. These results are of course good news for Apple, and somewhat surprising for many given that there have been numerous problems reported with the iPhone 5 since it was first launched.

On the other hand, Apple is speculated to unleash the two handsets in August of this year and early next year. According to AppleInsider, Chinese company Foxconn, the manufacturer behind most of Apple's products, will exclusively produce the iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S.

Apple are expected to include an improved camera in the iPhone 6 and/or iPhone 5S which is rumoured to be capable of taking "Super HD" pictures. In order to take snaps at that resolution it'll need to have at least a 13 mega-pixel camera. Other features rumoured to be included in the handset is the A7 quad core chip processor, Retina or IGZO screen display among others.

Meanwhile, Samsung sent a cryptic message hinting the release of the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S4 on March 14. The invite drops clues that the Galaxy S4 is indeed the smartphone that will be unveiled on the unpacked event.

Samsung Galaxy S4 is the next generation of the popular Galaxy S series. New rumours claimed that the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S4 will be launched on March 14 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
