Swiss tennis maestro Roger Federer has confirmed his appearance in three of the five venues of the second edition of the team tennis exhibition tournament, International Premier Tennis League (IPTL). Federer will play for the UAE Royals in New Delhi, Dubai and Singapore.

“I am extremely pleased to be playing for the UAE Royals in Dubai, New Delhi, and Singapore,” Federer said in a report by Sport360. “The atmosphere created by fans in these cities is both warm and electrifying, adding another level of motivation for me personally when I compete against the best in the world at these venues.”

The IPTL kicks off in Kobe, Japan from Dec. 2 to Dec. 4. Then, the tournament will head on to Manila, Philippines for the second leg on Dec. 6. Federer will headline the last three venues in New Delhi (Dec. 10 to Dec. 12), Dubai (Dec. 14 to Dec. 16) and the final stop in Singapore (Dec. 18 to Dec. 20).

The 17-time grand slam champion leads the UAE Royals alongside fellow ATP stars such as 2014 US Open champion Marin Cilic, 2001 Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic, Canadian doubles specialist Daniel Nestor, and Czech tennis star Tomas Berdych as well as WTA stars Ana Ivanovic and Kristina Mladenovic.

Federer is currently getting ready for the indoor season after his shocking exit at the 2015 Shanghai Rolex Masters. The 34-year-old was upset by Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas in the second round 7-6 2-6 6-3. It was Federer’s first official tournament since losing to Novak Djokovic in the finals of the 2015 US Open 6-4 5-7 6-4 6-4.

According to his schedule, Federer is set to play in his hometown, Basel, for the Swiss Indoors taking place from Oct. 24 until Nov. 1. Then, he will fly to Paris for the BNP Paribas Masters (Nov. 2 to Nov. 8) before playing in the season-ending tournament at Barclays ATP World Tour Finals at the O2 Arena in London (Nov. 15 to Nov. 22).
