The Tokyo Game Show 2013 served as a platform for both the Xbox One and the PS4, and even with a some announcements of upcoming specialized games, Nintendo was fairly absent in the event.

If anything, it actually seems as though no trace of Nintendo was intended to begin with. But this doesn't mean that not a lot is happening for the company, as games and updates are slated for release.

'Attack on Titan' 3DS Game Detailed

Fans of the manga-turned-anime runaway hit "Shingeki no Kyojin" ("Attack on Titan") will have to wait until Dec. 5 to get their hands on the new game, but Nintendo has eased the waiting game by releasing a few more details.

As reported in Japanese magazine Famitsu, a number of screens of the game has been released, and you can see that the Titans are just as scary in the "Attack on Titan" anime and manga as they are in the game.

Nintendo's 3D action game allows you to play as any of the three protagonists Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert. But Comics Alliance reports that Captain Rivaille and more may be slated for release. You'll be flying around on the 3D maneuvers with two goals in mind: slay the titans and free captured friends before they get eaten.

"Attack on Titan: Humanity's Last Wings" will have a story mode following the main story, and a multiplayer mode that lets you team up with three others to defeat the enemy.

As for the release date of the game, souces state that no word yet has been given for North America, though the anime has been well-received in other parts of the world. Check out this teaser trailer via Crunchy Roll on the game.

And those who are looking forward to more of the anime version, an OVA is also in the works, this time focusing on "Attack on Titan" story about "Ilse's Journal."

A Holiday Affair to Battle with Sony and Microsoft?

The December release of the "Attack on Titan: Humanity's Last Wings" comes at the fringes of the major console war happening between the PS4 and the Xbox One. And though the game will roll out for the Nintendo 3DS, it is not the only one Nintendo will roll out.

"Pokemon X & Y" is also coming way ahead of "Attack on Titan" on 3DS, hauling two new fossils with it. According to Game Informer, the Pokemon fossils will be the Jaw Fossil to spawn Tyrunt and Tyrantrum, while the Sail Fossil gives you Amaura and Aurorus.

The Wii U will also receive single buys for Wii Sports. This will feature five new games, with Tennis and Bowling leading the pack on Nov. 7. However, the games are expensive at $9.99, reports Ars Technica.

This comes as an aftermath of the price cut of the device, pulling it down from $349 to just $299.
