There is another lightning strike that hit the Odakyu Electric Railway train on Monday evening. The Telegraph said the train, which was travelling from the Izumi-Tamagaw Station to the Noborito Station, was running on a railway bridge when the lightning hit it.

A video of the incident made by a resident was posted on YouTube, showing sparks flying in front of the train and causing it to lose power.

The passengers recounted the coaches suddenly became dark. The train's electric power was restored after 10 minutes and the locomotive moved again. There were no reports of injuries among the passengers.

On Saturday, a lightning also struck an SUV in Utah, but it damaged the car, including blowing three of its tires.

However, the passengers of the family car claimed the bolt gave the empty batteries of the mobile phones and gaming devices full charge, which many Internet users who have read the story doubt.
