"Supernatural" actor Jared Padalecki, who portrays Sam Winchester in the CW TV series, received an early Christmas gift when his wife Genevieve Cortese gave birth to their second son on Monday night, December 23. Now, the 31-year-old proud daddy teases the fans on Twitter about the name of his newborn child.

Mr Padalecki posted on his Twitter account @jarpad the message that reads: "We just wanted to wish everybody out there a safe and happy holiday season, from the four Padaleckis. Sincerely: Me, @realGpad, Thomas, and." Then, the actor shared a follow-up tweet about the social networking site cutting off the name of his newborn son.

"Those damn 140 characters ALWAYS get the best of me! Embarrassingly, it cut off our new sons name! Sheesh. Crazy! Anyways, PLEASE HELP WELCO," Mr Padalecki further tweeted in the Cartermatt.com report. When it comes to personal life, the "Supernatural" star certainly has limits on what he could share to his fans.

Jared Padalecki met his wife, Genevieve Cortese, on the set of "Supernatural" when the 32-year-old actress portrayed the recurring demon character Ruby. The pair got married in 2010 and became proud parents to their first born child Thomas Colton Padalecki.

Now, the couple welcomed their new bundle of joy warmly in their arms just in time with the holiday season. "Ok. For real ;) My amazingly strong wife home-birthed a happy and healthy baby boy last night :). Please send love :))," the actor's Twitter post read in the Web Pro News report.

The actor has been very lucky for the year 2013 with the "Supernatural" series still going strong. Add up the arrival of the new member to the Padalecki family to the wonderful blessings that Jared received as well as the recognition in Tumblr's 2013 Most Reblogged Actors list where the actor secured the No. 4 spot.

"Supernatural" Season 9 is currently on its holiday break from filming which gives Jared Padalecki some quality time with his family. The show is scheduled to return with the brand new episodes on Tuesday, January 14, at 9:00 p.m. ET on the CW network with Mr Padalecki returning as well to continue dealing with angels and demons after dealing with baby bottles and diapers at home.
