Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have been dating for almost three years. The two have gone on innumerable dates of which are quite costly. Bieber has been the ultimate Romeo to his lovely Juliet and had spent a few good bucks on Selena. However, the two ha a bit of a problem halfway through 2012 all thanks to Bieber's alleged "cheating." The rumours swirled even more furiously when Justin was caught hanging out with Victoria's Secret model, Barbara Palvin.

While things seem to be ok for Selena and Justin now, some are still set on claiming that Justin Bieber is still not over seeing Palvin. In fact, Justin was spotted out and about once more with Barbara Palvin earlier this month in Miami especially when talks of the "Jelena" split was still on high with fans. Yet, Palvin was quick to claim there was really nothing going on between her and Bieber.

"Barbara swears she and Justin are just platonic friends. Nothing happened between Barbara and Justin - they're just friends. Barbara acts really, really young. She's gorgeous, but she acts young. Justin wouldn't be attracted to her because she's such a baby. They're both just kids," claimed an insider to Hollywood Life.

While fans of the "Biebera" duo are sulking over the news, "Jelena" fans are raving over the recent news. News is that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have travelled to Mexico to spend New Year's Eve together. By the looks of it, Justin is showering Selena with all the much needed love and attention.

"Justin told Selena that he wrote her a bunch of new songs and they are going on the album. He is desperate for her attention, but she is flattered. Sel loves him but just wants him to treat her better. But she loves when he sings about her, so she's flattered," claimed a source.

The big question is: Is Justin doing all this to make up for time lost or is the 18-year old pulling all the stops to cover up a scandalous affair with Barbara Palvin? "Jelena" fans can only hope the latter isn't at all true.
