Selena Gomez has officially dumped Justin Bieber. So what else is new? According to sources, Selena had dumped Bieber over the fact that Justin had recently rubbed elbows with Gomez' ex boyfriend, Nick Jonas. Did the Nick and Justin Bromance really affect the "Jelena" duo?

"Jelena" fans know how supportive Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are for each other. Both have always been spotted hanging in the by-lines during the others' concerts or film sets. However, last December 15 during Justin Bieber's concert at Chicago, the 20-year old Latina failed to show up. Why exactly? Apparently, the couple had already split up.

"At this point, Selena isn't going to any of Justin's concerts ever again," our source said. "She doesn't want to speak to him anymore and told him it's over," said the source to Hollywood Life.

What was the cause of the split? Surely Justin Bieber had not hung out with Victoria's Secret models? The reason for the split was Nick Jonas. Fans of the former Disney star know that Selena Gomez had been in a relationship with Nick Jonas. Unlike Gomez' romance with Bieber, Nick wasn't at all the sweet and loving type.

"At this point, Selena isn't going to any of Justin's concerts ever again. She doesn't want to speak to him anymore and told him it's over. Hanging out with Nick proved that he wants to just be a jerk about this, and Selena's sick of being heartbroken," explained the source, adding, "They are finished, and I think it's for good this time. Justin and Nick Jonas hung out all night. Selena was crying about it. He wouldn't even return her calls when she found out and called him up."

Looks like things are really down in the dumps for the famous "Jelena" duo. Justin's friendship with Nick Jonas definitely crossed the line for Selena Gomez. While "Beliebers" are happy over the break-up, "Jelena" fans are insisting the break-up is simply a fluke and that the couple would manage to work it out - again. Yet, judging from sources claiming one thing and another, Selena isn't ready to go through another fight again.

"It's never fun to go through a breakup. But Selena has a lot of friends she's leaning on for support," said the source to Ocean Up, adding, "This why they should break up. She keeps trying and she's heartbroken. It's not working."
