A Filipino teenager shared his vision of the Motorola X-Phone, rumoured for a Q3 2013 release date, which fuses existing speculations about the handset and bits of specs from previous Motorola devices.

This time around, 15-year-old Rain Tomista is not entertaining the thought of merging Nexus 5 with the upcoming Motorola flagship. His concept pointed to Motorola and HTC creativity, with the handset specifically inspired by the companies' Droid RAZR MAXX HD and Droid DNA that the world saw last year.

The X-Phone adheres to the 1080p standard that adorns its 4.7-inch screen, which eats up much of the handset's front face thanks to a design that accommodates less bezel both on the left and right side.

The form factor is familiar - thin, light and sleek. Help up against both the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy S3, this X-Phone in a pure black glory is hands down winner in ergonomics plus less footprints to boot.

Mr Tomista conjured up a very powerful smartphone that uses the quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 4i processing chip, spinning away at a top speed of 2.3GHz. The Jelly Bean 4.3 device will run the show with Google's insanely great camera features - 16MP on rear and 5MP on front.

He expects the X-Phone to be both NFC and LTE capable, likely offering too wireless charging feature that is Qi compatible. That would mean the device can be juiced up using any charging tools that operate on the same protocol.

All the delicate components of the mobile phone will be encased in a polycarbonate casing that melds with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 front screen for durable protection. The back side is given a matte finish, which resist dents and scratches thereby eliminating the need for a separate jacket protector.

Motorola's icon is printed on the back plus that of Google's on the lower portion - a stark reminder that it is the internet search giant that calls the shot on Motorola Mobility.

It is believed that Google and Motorola will uncloak the X-Phone later this month, using the annual I/O Developers Conference as a platform and en route to a possible August release date.

Key Lime Pie, the rumoured Android 5.0 version, was first thought to debut with the Motorola flagship but a new report suggested that Google would settle for Jelly Bean 4.3 this year.
