After making her crush on Adam Levine public on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jennifer Love Hewitt calls herself a "fool" for making such blunt confessions.

Over the weekend, the actress was seen wearing a top that says "My heart belongs to me" t-shirt as she took care of some errands in Los Angeles. Probably a shot back at Adam and the public after she announced her crush on the Maroon 5 vocalist.

Weeks after she confessed on Ellen DeGeneres about her crush on Adam, he also made an appearance on the talk show and could not escape answering questions about his break up with Anne V. and what he has to say about Jennifer's witty comment.

"I heard about that. That was aggressive. It was really sweet and flattering. Beautiful life, you know, when a beautiful woman says nice things about you," Adam said.

The singer also declined Ellen's offer to match make. Even without admitting, Levine seems to be heartbroken still from his split with the Victoria's Secret model. He once admitted that his relationship with Anne V. was the most functional he's ever had and there was no way he is going to screw it up.

Earlier last month, Anne announced their split through a statement but added they remain amicable and supportive towards each other.

After she was referred as aggressive by Levine, the "Client List" actress reacted through her Twitter account.

"The moment when you make a comment about something or someone and the world makes you feel like a total fool.#keepcrushesquiet" she posted. "Thank you to @adamlevine for being so gracious on Ellen about my crush heard round the world. I've learned a lesson.#Sssh" she added.

Although she spoke of her admiration towards Adam, she was rumored to be getting cozy with her "The Client List" co-star Colin Egglesfield.
