Jenny McCarthy, even at 39, is single and enjoyed the night of welcoming 2012 with the rest of the cast of the ABC Special 'New Year's Rockin' Eve.'

The comedienne's recent split with comedian Jim Carrey in 2010 really became one of the biggest newsmakers of the past year.

As for 2012, McCarthy is still single and even went ahead with her plans for the night of kissing some cute random guy who eventually turned out to be an NYPD cop. The lucky guy said that the kiss was a perfect '10' for a score and that there certainly were "fireworks." McCarthy said over at tweeter that it was a G-rated kind of kiss.

It was the second time that she co-hosted the show along with Ryan Seacrest and Dick Clark right in New York, while Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas hosted the show from LA. The show feature a lot of great performances from the best artists of 2011 like Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Pitbull, and a lot more.

According to the pretty celebrity, she has always been a fan of the ABC Show that she remembers catching it even when she was still with Jim. They separated after staying together for five years. McCarthy was reportedly dating a sports agent during the early parts of 2011 and she has one son from her former husband Mallory Asher.

In one interview she had with Access Hollywood, she put into the detail the characteristics she is looking for in a guy.

"Just really sweet and who's a perfect reflection of who I am now," the former Playboy model stated. McCarthhy also added that she is not after so much of the looks but she is after a man who is financially mature and must have a job.
