The legendary artist Jimi Hendrix reminds us of his greatness as he was recently named by the Rolling Stone magazine as the "Greatest Guitar Player" of all time.

This was a list gathered up by the best of the best in the music industry and amongst the leading guitar players in history.

He was joined by other classic guitar players such as Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, B.B. King and many more in the top ten.

The other contenders for the top spot of the most favoured guitar player include Eddie Van Halen, Brian May, Lenny Kravitz and other artists carefully selected by the senior staff of the prestigious magazine. Even Mike McCready of Pearl Jam gave Van Halen the title "Master of Riffs" and Joe Perry praised Jimmy Page.
