Pop sensation, Justin Bieber, who came from a fresh huge defeat for the Best New Artist award at the 53rd Grammys Sunday night, has described Lady Gaga’s egg ensemble at the music event as ‘weird’.

Bieber’s take on Lady Gaga’s came when asked during his appearance at “Chelsea Lately”, to choose between the singer’s meat dress or the egg costume.

Entertainmentwise.com described the Canadian teen laughing and said: “I thought both were weird!”.

Still expressing his surprise, Bieber was quick to explain what he really thinks of Lady Gaga's costume.

“But I don’t know.. People’s say it’s artistic or stuff. I’m just like, ‘You’re an egg!’”

In Lady Gaga's defense, the teen singer has also made his own assumption on why Lady singer would rock the stage inside the egg at 53rd Grammys.

“ [Maybe] she didn’t want to talk to a lot of people,” Bieber said, according to the website. "A lot of people before they go on stage are on vocal rest."

Bieber has remained positive following his defeat in the Grammys at Los Angeles on February 13, 2011. He had been a favorite and a major contender for the Best New Artist Award, bagged by jazz artist, Esperanza Spalding. This has left Bieber's millions of fans to be disappointed on the results of the last music awards.
