Justin Bieber Goes Country with 'Boyfriend Remix' [VIDEO]
Justin Bieber might not have released his collaboration with country crooner, Taylor Swift, but he did learn a thing or two from her. Well, that is what can be said judging from Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" remix with a hint of country.
The 18-year old started out as a YouTube sensation discovered by none other than Usher. Now, Justin is one of Hollywood's brightest and best stars. Singing, dancing and acting are just a few talents the Canadian native is gifted with. With good looks to boast plus a down-to-earth attitude, it is no wonder why Justin Bieber has managed to collect hoards of fans worldwide. Apart from being dubbed as the boy wonder in pop music, Justin is nowadays known as Selena Gomez's boyfriend.
With Justin's new album, "Believe," on the rise, it looks as if Bieber is ready to venture towards the other genres of music. Country music seems to be at the top of his list. The teenage heartthrob tweeted a seemingly impromptu short clip of him singing the Billboard hit song, "Boyfriend" with a touch of country twang. Accompanied by an acoustic guitar, it can definitely be said that the 15 second clip is the country remix. Justin traded in the iconic "Swag, Swag, swag" lines with "Yee Haw!"
Justin may have pulled off a country remix but this by no means is a first step for the Canadian crooner to pull off a Jessica Simpson. If the Bieber were to legitimately go country, Justin had already pulled it off with his collaboration with the country trio, Rascal Flatts, last 2011. Despite having a lot of RnB and pop hits, Justin Bieber did admit to loving country music and he has his mother, Pattie Mallette, to thank for.
The Bieber isn't the only pop star to have done the country twang. Lady Gaga did something of the sort in March 2011 when she released the country road version of the hit song, "Born this Way". Unlike Bieber who released only 15 seconds of the "country-fied" song, Lady Gaga released a full version of the country version with a legit remix.
