Justin Bieber tells Australian band 5SOS to not use his name to gain publicity
Justin Bieber took to twitter to hit back at Australian boy band 5SOS for saying that the Canadian singer hates them.
According to the Rolling Stone , Michael Clifford and Luke Hemmings attended their friend Nick Jonas’ party after American Music Awards (AMAs), they then crashed a party thrown by Bieber at their favourite bar, the Nice Guy. It is here that Clifford suddenly said “I think he [Bieber] hates us,” adding, “I probably shouldn't say this, but he had his own album on loop for, like, two or three hours.”
Justin Bieber took to Twitter, clearly offended, to hit back at Clifford and the band members -
“@Michael5SOS sorry guy. Don’t hate you. Don’t even know u. And are u sure u came to our party because my album wasn’t on loop? Strange."
The following tweets from Bieber subtly expressed his distress at being dragged unnecessarily into another controversy. “And now we can all move on. No hate all love. Happy to make it clear. Happy times."
However, Bieber managed to end it on a graceful note with his final tweet – “@Michael5SOS wish u the best.” But he also warned the band members: “Don’t use my name for headlines. U are already on the cover. U don’t need it. Just be honest. Big hugs bud." The tweets have since been deleted, though Clifford read them.
Clifford responded by saying, “@justinbieber done nothing but praise ur album; no idea why that’s even in the article. big fan since the start man, take care."
It appears there’s no more bad blood between these two. One hopes they don’t have such awkward encounters again.
