The singer famous for making lewd statements strikes again, comparing himself to the most hated man in history Adolf Hitler.

His enticing performance for the Big Chill festival in Hertfordshire, England turned awry when the "Golddigger" singer proclaimed how people look at him as "Hitler". "I walk through the hotel and I walk down the street, and people look at me like I'm f**king insane, like I'm Hitler" says the rapper as transcribed by The Daily Mail. Unlike West's other rants, this seem to be the most controversial as he puts his anger towards one of the most tragic happenings in history, and history big shots are not too amused about it.

The executive director of the Los Angeles Museum of Holocaust, Mark Rothman, broke his silence about West's tasteless statement. "Kanye West's remarks at a recent concert in England, in which he claimed being so misunderstood people look at him as if he were Hitler, only suggests how little he understands" says Rothman in an interview. "He certainly misunderstands the supreme unattractiveness of his 'poor me' self-pitying martyrdom act" adds the museum director in the same post.

West is well known for his uncontrollable and offensive antics, particularly when he barged onstage to protest Taylor Swift's win over singer Beyonce for the Best Female Video award at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. "He misunderstands the vast gulf between his actions, no matter how wrong they may be or how wrong people may think they are, and those of the single biggest mass murderer in history. And he misunderstands the great responsibility he holds in his hands together with his microphone" continues Rothman in the same Daily Mail post.

Aside from making the insipid statement, West was half an hour late for the England festival gig, saying how "frustrated" he is for losing his voice on his most important gig this summer. "I only have half of my voice. I just want things to be right. This is the reason we started half an hour late" claims West before he started his set.
