Kanye West Health Update: Kim Kardashian Was 'Worried' About His Emergency Hospital Visit
Doctors Feared it Could be a Seizure and Requested an Urgent MRI
Kanye West was rushed to Epworth Hospital in Melbourne due to suffering from a major health scare. Woman's Day reported that he was suffering from a migraine and was given an emergency MRI.
The incident occurred last Wednesday, hours before his performance at his final concert in Melbourne. He was taken from the back entrance, surrounded by high security. Woman's day also reported that he was "stretchered in by paramedics." Doctors had suspected that he had a seizure and requested an urgent MRI.
His wife Kim Kardashian had accompanied him on the trip. The site revealed that a hotel source exclusively told them about Kim's concern about Kanye's health. Also stating that he was unwell while was preparing for the flight to Sydney as well.
"Kanye didn't look like he'd slept last night. He looked shattered and you could see he wasn't feeling well," the source said. The source further revealed that Kim spoke of him coming down with the flu.
Despite his emergency exit to the hospital from the concert, Kanye went back and performed at his Melbourne concert at Rod Laver Arena.
"He's fine, I just spoke to him." his rep told The Insider With Yahoo. According to a source at E!, Kanye did not have a major health scare or seizure. It was just a migraine and he went to the hospital for precaution sake, the source added.
Adding to that, Kim's behavior post his emergency did not seem like there was anything wrong with Kanye. Yahoo reported that she was not worried and went posting about clothes, shoes and other things even after Kanye left the hospital. She also posted a photo of the both of them, but nothing about the emergency was spoken about; neither in Kanye's record label nor by Kim herself.
Kim and Kanye arrived in Sydney along with their daughter North West and checked into their suite at Sydney's Park Hyatt hotel.
"Kanye went on stage last night in Melbourne as scheduled. The tour continues at Sydney's Qantas Credit Union Arena tomorrow and Saturday, before concluding in Brisbane on Monday night," a Live Nation spokeswoman said.
