Kardashian Jenner Family Cancels All Press For 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' To Keep Bruce Jenner's Transition Story Under Wraps
Even though the Kardashian Jenner clan has gone off-air now that they are in between seasons, their names and faces have still been all over the media. Unfortunately, it has not necessarily all been good publicity. Scott Disick has been accused of having affairs with two of Kourtney’s sisters while Bruce Jenner has continuously been embroiled in reports alleging that he is transitioning into a woman. It has now been reported that the family has cancelled all press and promotional engagements for the upcoming season of their reality show in order to keep the truth about Bruce under wraps until they decide that the time is right.
Bruce and Kris Jenner have divorced and Bruce has since been plagued wth rumours about his changing appearance. He has since grown his hair out into a ponytail and the press has been reporting that he has been planning on transitioning into a woman. Kris Jenner has vehemently denied the reports but they just won’t die down. Now, TMZ has reported that the family is cancelling all promotional activities in relation to season 10 of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
The reason behind this move according to the report is for the family to be able to hold back and keep details under wraps regarding Bruce and his story. People Magazine has been reporting that Bruce intends to star in his own reality show that documents his transition. A further report claims that an exclusive interview with Diane Sawyer is in the works for the big “coming out” revelation.
Bruce Jenner has kept mum about the entire issue and has not bothered to address the allegations. According to Mail Online, members of the press were also advised not to ask questions about Bruce during the last promo event attended by the family for their show in early January.
TMZ claims that the family intends to make the announcement on season 10 of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” The solo show featuring Bruce Jenner’s transition is supposed to come out after season 10 airs.
During the last season, Kim Kardashian and her marriage to Kanye West was the main feature of the storyline. Kris and Bruce Jenner’s separation and subsequent divorce was also highlighted due to their constant bickering on camera. On the spin-off “Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons,” it was Kourtney’s relationship problems with Scott and Khloe’s romance with French Montana were at the forefront. When the season ended last fall, fans were left to anticipate the premiere of season 10. According to the show’s official website, season 10 premieres in spring.
