Kate Middleton At Ring O' Fire Coastal Ultra Marathon In 1st Public Appearance Since The Birth Of Prince George

Kate Middleton made an appearance at the Ring O' Fire Coastal Ultra Marathon and marked as her first official engagement since the birth of five-week-old Prince George. Kate joined her husband Prince William at the Ring O' Fire Anglesey event. Prince William has officially starting the three-day, 135-mile (220km) coastal run.

Prince William rang a bell to commence the race and clapped and cheered with Kate Middleton as the runners set off. Kate Middleton's private secretary, Rebecca Deacon, accompanied her to the event. Prince George has not attended the event he was at home with grandma Carole Middleton.

''I said 'How's he (George) doing?' She said 'He's doing really well, he's with his grandma','' said Sarah Bingham, whose husband founded the race.

''They are both really lovely people, really genuine. It was nice to speak to her after what Kate's just been through. She looks wonderful, doesn't she?''

Members of the public said Kate seems to have a great motherhood.

''We were talking about the joy she was having from George and how quick he was changing, she couldn't quite believe it. She's enjoying every minute of it,'' said Marian Wyn-Jones.

''He's getting quite huge, she said.''
