Prince William and now the Duke of Cambridge has paid tribute to his new wife in an emotional speech before 300 guests at the evening party following their Royal Wedding at historic Westminster Abbey.

“Kate is my rock”, the Daily Mail quoted Prince William as saying at the evening party describing Duchess Catherine’s impact in his life.

The Prince revealed to his close relatives and friends how grateful he is for Kate’s support in his life.

As reported earlier by various media outlets including IBTimes, Kate Middleton was believed to have played a big part in William’s decision to continue pursuing a degree at St. Andrews University in Fife, Scotland.

The Prince said the Daily Mail in a separate report had had a hard time during his early year at the university and it was Kate who had apparently helped him get through the process until he decided to change his discipline at the university.

While he was enlisted under Art History program when he entered St. Andrews in 2001, Prince William changed degrees and graduated in 2005 with a degree in Geography. And Kate and his father said the report had been with William in making his decisions at the university.

This and the “security and the normality”, according to the Daily Mail is what Prince William is indebted to Kate when he spoke about his Royal wife.
