Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have reconciled despite reports that Foxx refuses to go public with their relationship

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx -- despite never actually confirming their relationship and recent breakup -- have reportedly gotten back together. The two have apparently reconciled despite reports last month that Holmes was finished with the 48-year-old actor.

Back in October, various news outlets reported that Holmes and Foxx had decided to split ways. Foxx’s commitment was apparently put into question, as the “Batman Begins” actress was getting impatient regarding the secrecy of their relationship. And because Foxx wanted to remain the same man in the public’s eye, the two split ways instead of confirming their relationship.

“Jamie wants to continue to act like the carefree guy [that] he is in public,” a source told Page Six. “Eventually, the question had to come about whether he was committed enough to the relationship.”

However, as the publication has noted, insiders have since confirmed that Holmes and Foxx have gotten back together. The actress and her inner circle are apparently thrilled at the reunion, which occurred just last week. There is no news about why the two are dating again or whether or not this means that Foxx is ready to go public with Holmes.

The two actors have been linked to each other for years, but neither party has confirmed or denied the rumours. In previous interviews, Foxx was adamant that he was good friends with Holmes and that there was nothing more than friendship between them. Nevertheless, the rumours and reports surrounding them have not ceased.

Holmes was previously married to actor Tom Cruise, who she wed in the latter half of 2006. Earlier that year, the two welcomed their daughter, Suri Cruise. The two officially divorced in 2012 and rumours of Holmes and Foxx dating started to surface in 2013.
