Katy Perry Allegedly 'Stole' Taylor Swift's Three Back-Up Dancers
Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have not confirmed reports about their ongoing feud. It had all started due to Swift's Rolling Stone interview where she talked about a female singer who sabotaged her concert. Responding to the interview, Katy Perry dropped a big hint that it was her who was Swift's enemy when she used a "Mean Girl" reference.
Now, the latest update on their alleged feud is that Katy had "stole" Swift's back-up dancers for her tour. According to reports by TMZ, Swift was "miffed" with Perry after the latter took three of her dancers away. However, there's quite a catch to the story.
Additional reports claim three of the dancers were originally hired by Katy Perry. Yet, due to the fact that Perry didn't have tours lined up, the three back up dancers jumped ship and were hired by Taylor Swift. When Katy Perry got another tour lined up, the three back up dancers had given Swift their 30-day notice but this was enough to "piss Taylor Swift."
TMZ adds that all this caused "Bad Blood" between Katy and Taylor, which is the song said to be inspired by Katy Perry. Right now, Swift and Perry have yet to address the feud reports but this has not stopped Perry from dropping a huge hint on Twitter.
Soon after Swift's Rolling Stone interview, Katy posted a tweet in reference to "Mean Girls." The tweet states: "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing..." For those who have yet to watch "Mean Girls," Regina George is the villain in the film played by "The Notebook's" Rachel McAdams. As for Swift, the country crooner is dead set on avoiding conflict with her sworn enemy.
"I'm surprisingly non-confrontational. You would not believe how much I hate conflict," stated Swift.
While Swift has been avoiding conflict, her fans, the Swifties, have been in a Twitter feud with Katy Perry fans, the Katy Cats.
