After dating for almost a month, Katy Perry cools her alleged relationship with Florence + The Machine guitarist, Robert Ackroyd.

However, unlike the usual venting out emotions whenever she has a broken heart, Perry is not expected to write any emotional ballad out of this breakup.

According to a source's interview with E! News, the new couple was not 'serious' in the first place, and that they are separating without ill feelings towards each other.

The same source mentioned that Perry is still friends with Ackroyd, but the pop star has always has doubts with the new relationship she was getting in. Their busy schedules may have also been another reason for the pair setting low expectations for the short-lived relationships.

Many attests that Ackroyd is a good guy, especially having been reportedly set up by another Rob (Robert Pattinson), but all that Perry wants to do now is concentrate on her career. Besides, her busy schedule is one of the many rumoured reasons of her divorce with Russell Brand.

Katy Perry's upcoming 3D movie is set to hit the big screen on July.
