Is Katy Perry into sailors this time around? The 'Part of Me' singer gave a guy from the Naval Academy a big smooch when she performed for a concert.

Someone from the audience recorded the surprise kiss and the video quickly became viral over at YouTube. Katy was wearing a Navy costume and just like her usual concert antics, she shared some smooth conversation with the Navy man who was recognized as Officer Beasley.

Since Perry was suffering from a cold at the time, she asked if it is fine with him even if she has a fever that burns up to 101. 8. When he answered 'Oh yea' Perry requested for them to do the iconic Navy pose of a couple kissing during the World War II.

Hence, they got into position and everyone from the crowd roared in excitement. But when Katy tweeted about her not feeling well, it was a confirmation that she was not lying about how ill she was feeling.

It was interesting to note that it seemed just one sailor was needed to take that fever away.
