Katy Perry responds to breakup reports with a meaningful Instagram post

In a subtle, yet meaningful way, singer Katy Perry has quelled rumours that she has broken up with beau Orlando Bloom.

The “I Kissed A Girl” singer took to Instagram to address reports that there’s trouble in paradise between the pair after just 10 months of dating. Perry posted several clips of herself with Bloom and her family in Thanksgiving.

In one clip, Perry and Bloom appeared to be wearing matching onesies, which may be their own version of couple shirts. Another photo shows him talking to her dad, which may indicate that he’s already at ease with her family. Bloom is also seen holding a baby while checking something on his phone, according to a report by The Sun.

This may be Perry’s way of saying that contrary to rumours, her boyfriend is comfortable with babies. Reports have surfaced last week that the pair has broken up barely a year after they started going out. Apparently, Perry was ready to settle down and start a family while the “Pirates Of The Caribbean” actor is supposedly not on board for these responsibilities.

In an article by InTouch Weekly (via Independent.Ie), Perry and Bloom were said to have ended things earlier this month. “Not long after Halloween, Orlando confessed to pals that he’d decided to end their relationship,” a source told the magazine. “He claimed that he’s just not ready to get married and have babies.”

Perry and Bloom are not exactly newbies in the marriage aspect, as both have tied the knot before. She wedded actor Russell Brand in 2010, but headed to splitsville two years later. Bloom, on the other hand, got hitched with model Miranda Kerr for three years before their divorce in 2013. Bloom has a 5-year-old son with Kerr, named Flynn.

Earlier in August, Perry and Bloom grabbed headlines after he was photographed wearing nothing but sunglasses and a cap during their romantic getaway in Sardinia, Italy.
