Katy Perry may have been so quiet in the past with anything regarding her divorce with Russell Brand, but in her Hollywood Reporter interview, the 'Wide Awake' singer simply tells it all.

She gave some details on the tough times she went through during the said split along with her future plans to put up her own record label.

Perry revealed that she had to control so much of her hurt and tears then minutes before her every performance. She was pretty careful not to ruin her mascara and any of her makeup for her every performance.

"There were times when what was going on in my personal life was so overwhelming that I had to bend over to let those tears fall straight out of my eyes and not my false lashes," Perry said during the interview.

In her upcoming 3D movie entitled 'Katy Perry: Part of Me,' the pop star said that it is impossible for anyone else to know what transpired during her marriage and divorce days with Brand. Hence, she is saddened whenever she reads from some tabloid statements that say 'according to close sources' so on and so forth.

Reports say that Katy Perry has put up about $2 million from her own money to make the upcoming movie a dream come true, not just for her but for all her fans. Perry and the rest of her producers are expecting that the movie will reach the same success or even more that Justin Bieber's own documentary movie achieved.

'Trust me, I have a vision' has always been the pop star's personal mantra. This was what she said again to her business manager on filming her 2011 concert in 3D held at the LA's Staples Center.

This goes the same for the vision she had with the making of the official video of her latest hit, 'Wide Awake.' Perry also has plans of putting up her own record label someday soon. She said that she wants to help other artists out there to have their break in the mainstream, just as how she was given a chance then when she was a newbie and completely unknown.
