There has been news spreading that Katy Perry is somehow a 'lost soul' after her controversial divorce drama with Russell Brand.

Upon the release of her new single, 'Part of Me,' talking about overcoming a hard break-up, the 27-year-old pop star said in interviews that she wrote the song a couple of years ago and finds it surprising how her written songs can relate to the current scenarios of her life.

According to US Weekly, Katy regrets the downfall of her marriage with the British writer/actor. And guess what? News said that she is looking forward to reconcile.

As per close sources me-ntioned in the magazine, Katy has been trying to get back with Brand and that she is still working out as a 'lost soul.' Claims say that this happened after her recent trip in India where the singer performed. It is the very place where she married Russell way back in 2010. This could have been probably the reason behind all her reminiscing.

As per Brand, he seems to have perfectly moved on as he was seen and caught by paparazzi hanging out with numerous women from the time their divorce was finalized. There were reports though about Katy Perry having been teamed up romantically with highest paid French model, Baptiste Giabiconi.

For now, close friends of both are hoping the two ex-couple can even start to at least be friends again.
