'Keeping Up With The Kardashians': Kris Jenner Removes Ex-Husband Bruce As The Executor Of Her Will

Kris and Bruce Jenner’s divorce has been in the spotlight this season on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” Season 10 has been dealing with their adjustment period and their new love interests, but this week, it’s all about financial freedom and other legalities. The episode deals with major legal connections that they need to cut now that they are divorced. One such legal matter is Kris Jenner’s executor for her living will, which she has decided can no longer be Bruce.
Kris Jenner has been suffering from a chronic pain in her neck for years. She has started getting epidurals on her neck in order to alleviate the pain. This time, the procedure has been scheduled very early in the morning. She tries to get her kids to drive her to and from the hospital, but all of them have excuses. Kris ends up asking Bruce to do her a favour and despite her initial inhibitions, he turns out to be more than willing to do it.
Bruce picks her up at 5 a.m. and takes her to the hospital. While she is being prepped for the procedure, the nurse asks her about her medical insurance and the person in charge of making any decisions should anything go wrong with the procedure. Kris reveals that she has just changed her will and that her executor is now Kourtney Kardashian, her eldest daughter. This catches Bruce by surprise and he gets emotional when he asks her about it. Bruce says that he’s the only one who is there for her now that she needs someone. He doesn’t see why he should be removed as the executor of her will. Kris simply reasons out that they are now divorced and that she does not think that Bruce should be the one to make a decision to pull the plug on her life if she ever finds herself relying on life support.
Back at home, Bruce tells Kim about the situation and Kim agrees that Kourtney isn’t the best choice since she’s so indecisive. Kim says that Kourtney will take forever to decide about a major medical issue since she can’t even choose a paint colour to save her own life.
Kris decides to think about it a little more and talks to Scott. The two of them talk about Kourtney’s character and Scott tries to tell Kris that Kourtney can be indecisive about the small things but she can make good major life decisions. In the end, he tries to test Kourtney in front of Kris by asking her to decide what to do with a lamp in their house. When she just heartlessly decides to pull a plug and render the lamp useless, Kris sees this as a sign and rethinks her decision.
After much thought, Kris decides that her third daughter Khloe is the best choice, given the recent trials that she went through. Kris thinks Khloe is nurturing, strong and level-headed enough to be able to make the right decision if she ever needs to make a decision about life support or anything similar.
