Khloe Kardashian drops health bombshell, reveals she dealt with skin cancer scare
‘I urge you to check yourself frequently,’ Khloe asks her fans
Controversial reality star Khloe Kardashian has established herself as a feisty, brutally honest woman. Recently, she has come clean to her fans about a serious medical condition she had to face: skin cancer.
The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” favourite revealed that she battled with the disease that resulted to a painful surgery. In her new post on her personal web site, the 32-year-old celebrity shared how it all happened. According to Khloe, her ordeal started when she noticed something different about her skin.
“I have moles everywhere, and a couple years ago, I noticed one growing under my breast. I immediately looked it up online and found out that if a mole is growing and changing shape, you should go to the doctor—so I did,” she wrote. “They took the whole thing out and they biopsied it.”
Fortunately, Khloe shared with her followers, the mole was benign. She also recounted that she went through the process a couple more times. “I am so grateful that most moles have not been cancerous.” However, there was one more thing that alarmed her doctors.
“There was one mole I had on my back that was skin cancer,” she revealed. As a result, the highly popular TV personality had eight inches of her skin removed. “It was definitely painful because it was a lot of skin, but most of the time, the removals haven't been that bad,” she continued.
After going through the process, Khloe admitted that she’s now extra aware of her skin, body and moles. While she said that she hasn’t had a problem in years, she wanted to share her experience to her fans so they’d keep an eye on what’s happening with their bodies, too. Khloe wrote, “I urge you to check yourself frequently! [If] you notice something doesn't look right, you will take action and take care of your health!”
