After performing her duties to promote their handbag collection, Kim Kardashian swiftly left Australia and cancelled the remainder of her tour.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Kim had to cancel the remaining of her tour which includes an appearance at the Melbourne Cup Carnival. Kim is still "devastated" with her ongoing divorce from Kris Humphries.

The reality star reportedly flew back to her home in Los Angeles Thursday or Friday this week after she and her sister Khloé promoted the Kardashian Kollection handbags at Sydney's nightclub Hugo's and the Westfield Miranda shopping center.

"She went to Australia to honor her commitments,"her publicist released in a statement. "However, during this very difficult time she felt it'd be best to return home to close friends and family."

Kim filed a divorce last Oct. 31 from her husband for 72 days Kris Humphries. The following days after, she was seen without her wedding ring. The split from Humphries caused a lot of speculations that the marriage was a sham from the start and as reported both Kardashian and Humphries benefited greatly from the wedding.

"I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best," Kim said in defense to the accusations being thrown at her and her fairytale wedding last August
