Kim Kardashian Insists 'South West' Will Not Be Second Baby's Name
Kim Kardashian has been pressed for details about her second child, especially on what she would name her baby. There have been bets that the newborn will likely be named as South West. However, Kim insists her son won’t be named with another direction.
The reality TV star has one again denied speculations that she will name her second child with husband Kanye West as South West. Kim Kardashian is very certain that her baby will not be named after one of the compass directions again.
"North is the best. I don't want to try and duplicate that with like a lower direction, you know?" she told Shauille O’Neal via phone call when she appeared for his “The Big Podcast” on Monday, July 13.
According to Hello Magazine , Kim Kardashian also admitted to the basketball star that she has been asked several times on whether she would name her second child South West. "I've been asked it hundreds of times," she revealed and thought it to be “the stupidest question.”
The 34-year-old had previously shared her dislike for the name during an interview with NPR. Org’s Wait Wait…don’t tell me column. When South West was brought up as a likely name for her son, Kim reasoned the idea is “so stupid.” “Stupidest thing ever and just ridiculous,” she said.
Kim Kardashian added that North West will always be better since she has a “better direction.” She also confirmed that she and Kanye West will not be choosing from the three remaining compass points for their second child’s name.
Cormac Dowling, the Novelties and Politics trader for Bookmakers Betfair, recalled how name bets for the couple’s child just suddenly started rolling in as soon as Kim Kardashian announced her second pregnancy. He also gave the odds of 6-1 that Kim and Kanye are still likely to choose another direction for their son’s name.
According to OK Magazine UK, other names also rank high among punters from Betfair. These include Mid, Junior, Kimye, Yeezus and Donda -- taken after Kanye West’s deceased mother. Kylie and Kendall were also gambled as likely names for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s son.
