Kim Kardashian and Kanye West continue to support and love each other despite separate battles
The last few months of the year have not been great for the Kardashian-Wests, as a string of bad situations has fallen on the family. Despite this, however, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are still steadfastly supporting each other, as close friend Jonathan Cheban recently confirmed.
The divorce rumours came from a report published by Us Weekly. A supposed friend of the Kardashian family told the publication that “[Kim] wants a divorce.” The source continued on to state that the 36-year-old mother of two has been trying to build a case to keep custody of 3-year-old North and 1-year-old Saint. The musician's recent situation would have been in Kim's favour, as Kanye just returned from a 9-day stay at UCLA Medical Center’s Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital for what his physician, Michael Farzam, described as “temporary psychosis.”
With that information, it would have made a great case that Kim should be granted with full custody of their children. However, Jonathan -- a close friend of both Kim and Kanye -- told E! News that the idea of a Kimye divorce is “hysterical.” The publication caught up with Jonathan during the DailyMail.com Holiday party earlier this week.
"I just FaceTimed with Kim and Kanye, and everyone's talking about some divorce rumors,” he said.”And I was laughing because I didn't hear that all day, and I guess everybody else apparently here did, and it's so funny to me because it's so not true." Jonathan also confirmed that Kim and Kanye are both in “good spirits.”
Kim and Kanye are apparently leaning onto each other as they each battle their own separate sets of demons. Kim is still recovering from her Paris robbery, where she was held captive by a couple of thieves who broke into her hotel room. Meanwhile, Kanye is committed to his outpatient treatment from his hospitalization.
