Kim Kardashian And Kanye West's Daughter North West Gets Baptised: Find Out About Her Godmother

After enjoying the trip to the Kardashians' ancestral home of Armenia, Khloe and Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and daughter North West went to Jerusalem, Israel. The family had their almost two-year-old daughter North baptised in a ceremony at the historic Cathedral of St. James in Jerusalem on Monday afternoon. According to historic data, Jesus Christ too was baptised on the Jordan River in Jerusalem.

"Kim Kardashian’s daughter will be baptised and become a Christian officially and a member of the Armenian church,” Archbishop Aris Shirvanian, an Armenian church official, told the Associated Press (via Bloomberg) before the ceremony. Shirvanian also said that he does not know much about Kim apart from the fact that she is a “famous personality” but he welcomed Kim and her family at the Cathedral.

Kim's younger sister Khloe became North's godmother at her baptism while a local priest acted as North's godfather. The Kardashian-West clan got free from the baptism ceremony around 6:30 p.m. local time, writes E Online. The website also added that the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” family then went for an “intimate” dinner with the Jerusalem mayor Nir Barkat at Mona Restaurant.

Little North was dressed-up in an all white dress for the religious occasion while Kim herself chose to wear an ankle-length skirt and a matching full-sleeve blouse for the occasion. The 34-year-old reality star did not wear a revealing dress at the occasion, keeping in mind the sanctity of the place she was visiting. Her husband Kanye was dressed in casual white trousers and a full sleeve white t-shirt while North's aunt Khloe chose to dress formally in all black outfit.

There is speculation in the media that the “Yeezus” rapper will give yet another impromptu performance before they head back to U.S. Kanye surprised everyone on Sunday evening when he announced on social media that he will perform in Yerevan. Thousands of fans gathered to watch Kanye perform live on his hit songs. The rapper surprised everyone by jumping in the Swan Lake during his performance.
