Kim Kardashian-West gives tips on how she deals with her haters
Kanye's wife speaks up on her bashers and revisits her feud with Taylor Swift
Kim Kardashian-West proved that she is the type of person who speaks her mind. In the latest entry posted on her website, she was seen talking to her close friend, Jonathan Cheban, about the things that get to her the most.
"When I feel like someone's being fake, it's the time that I'll say something, and it's usually really publicly," Kim said in the video. Fans believe that she was referring to the conflict with Taylor Swift regarding the "Famous" issue. "My tip on clapping back is just do whatever makes you feel good."
Entertainment Tonight cited the the time she called out Bette Midler in March. The conflict between the two rose when Kim's controversial nude selfie made rounds online.
"If Kim wants us to see a part of her we've never seen, she's gonna have to swallow the camera," Bette tweeted. The reality star then responded by saying it was past her bedtime.
"It's just because she's such a legend -- it's so weird," Kim added, looking back on the #KimExposedTaylor Twitter war. "Hey, you do you, let me be me," she said. "No need to be rude or tear someone else down."
"I personally take the high road most of the time," the Kardashian star stated. She explained that she was careful of the battles she would throw herself in. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star also stated her distaste for people who criticised her for overusing Photoshop and editing her looks. In Fergie's music video for MILF$, Kim was bashed for her unbelievably small waistline.
"Like, body shamers -- 'You must have gotten lipo, you know, to lose all your baby weight,'" she said. "You have no idea how hard it is for me to do low carbs and to really focus, and to do this." Kim added that she also had a strict workout routine. The mother-of-two said that she wanted to be an example for her daughter North as well.
"Her attitude toward her body is directly related to my own, so it's my responsibility to make sure she understands that positive body image comes from having a healthy self-esteem," Kim said.
