Kiss Drops Out of Michael Jackson Concert Tribute [PHOTOS]

The brothers of the late king of pop were appalled that the organizers of the Michael Jackson tribute concert invited rock band Kiss, who openly flamed Michael for child molesting in the past.

After announcing a couple of names such as Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green to topbill the "Michael Forever" concert, Global Live has confirmed that rock band Kiss has been dropped from the list of performers. The Jackson brothers were disheartened with the organizers decision to invite the band after Gene Simmons openly slammed Michael for his child molesting accusations in the past.

"Where there's smoke there's fire. There's no question in my mind he molested those kids. Not a doubt," says Kiss bassist Gene Simmons in an interview to Classic Rock magazine last February.

"This mishandling reinforces my view that this promoter is getting it all wrong" and "says Jermaine Jackson through his Twitter account. He continued after fans are gossiping about the idea that their mother, Katherine, is also promoting the event.

"It also saddens me that my mother is being used to promote this event. Does Global Live really need an 81-year-old woman to prop up its event? Stop" says Jermaine in his Twitter account as transcribed in a report by the BBC. Other fans are also saying that the concert is a distraction from Dr.Conrad Murray's murder trial.

"I hear you all. Global Live mishandled this booking in the same way it has misjudged the event's timing and mood of the fan community" continues Jermaine in his twitter account.
